A celebration of wild romance and imperfect beauty within the storied walls of Lulworth Castle.

Set within the weathered walls of Lulworth Castle, this wedding was a celebration of romantic decay — where aged stone, soft light, and untamed florals came together to tell a story of imperfect beauty and enduring love.

Drawing inspiration from the castle’s haunting charm, I designed florals that embraced rustic imperfection: wild English blooms in muted, natural tones, spilling organically from urns and archways. Each arrangement felt as though it had grown into the ruins over time — a gentle nod to history and the fleeting nature of beauty.

The centrepiece of the day was a hand-built oak tree arch, echoing the very tree under which the couple became engaged.
It framed the ceremony with meaning and warmth, symbolising strength, roots, and continuity.

Beyond the flowers, I also designed and crafted the wedding stationery, keeping the aesthetic tactile and timeless. Using chalky finish paint on the seating charts, I created pieces that felt perfectly in tune with the castle’s textures and the overall mood of rustic romance.

Every detail was considered to create an atmosphere that felt both intimate and eternal — a gentle fusion of nature, art, and emotion, where every bloom, brushstroke, and petal told part of the couple’s love story.
